North Texas Makerspaces

As part of the Maker Library Discovery program, Dallas Maker Community is providing open documentation of all public makerspaces in North Texas that are part of the Dallas Maker Community network. This is a work in progress. We will continue to update this resource on an ongoing basis. Photography from most locations has been collected but not yet uploaded. Copy on most locations remains pending and will be added gradually.

Each visit is made in person by someone within the Dallas Maker Community network. Our intention is to document, rate, and review each North Texas Dallas/Fort Worth makerspace. We also interview staff and community members.

Practical Goals

• Provide you with a regularly updated central repository of all publicly accessible makerspaces within the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.

• Provide detailed information on each makerspace near you.

• Help you find the perfect makerspace for your needs.

• Enable you to get access to tools, resources, and support.

• Make it easy for you to learn new maker skills.

Social Goals

• Help connect you with other Dallas Makers in your area.

• Provide an easy way for you to find a collaborative environment near you.

• Help you become a part of a supportive community of Makers.

• Help you bring innovative ideas to life with help from other like-minded Makers in your area.
